Name.com is now having “happy hour” for dropped names starting yesterday. Now this does not work like a regular happy hour but it has the same idea. They are basically dropping the price at which you can register a dropped domain name every 2 hours until it drops in the last hour. The prices are:
Time Frame - Price
3pm to 4:59 - $8.49
5pm to 6:59 - $7.49
7pm to 8:59 - $6.49
9pm to 9:59 - $5.49
Pretty cool idea. I think the only thing that sucks about this is that the prices are only on their dropped names. Yeah there are some pretty good ones in there but i want to register whatever i want. Anyways great deal check it out. Not sure when it is over though.
Find the names for those prices with their Recently Deleted Domains Tool. Those are the only ones the prices are for. Have fun and get some good ones.
StripClubs.com failed to get the job done this time. The domain name was auctioned off at the Rick Latona Phoenix Forum Domain Name Auction. The top bid was $101K. Apparently the high bidder at the auction could not come up with the financing and had to renig on the deal.
The domain is now being offered on ebay with a starting bid of $75k. This domain should sell at this range since it had gotten a lot of action at the Phoenix Forum Domain Name Auction. There were more than just 2 bidders that went all the way up to the top.
So even if you do not have the money for this keep an eye out and watch an amazing name sell for a hefty price.
Yes you read the title right. I think that everyone out there that uses twitter has seen many contests and give aways so that person or company can get more followers on twitter. Well it has just hit the big time for sure.
United Airlines has been giving free tickets and reduced rates through twitter. That means that you can actually fly cheap. This is a pretty big movement going on for companies and twitter. Just goes to show what type of power twitter has over big companies and people.
There are many different tactics to gainng new followers in a short amount of time. The most common and proven method is to hold some kind of contest. I have seen everything from t-shirts to iphones been given away. So jump on the bandwagon and try to get some loot for yourself.
